We are not permitted to delve into matters brought before the judiciary; the judge is responsible for ruling on them. If the issue of your wife's divorce has been submitted to the court, the correct approach is to refer to it. As for the general jurisprudential ruling, whoever divorces his wife and forgets the number of divorces, he acts upon the lesser certain number. For example, if someone doubts whether he divorced three times or twice, it is considered only two divorces, based on the saying of Ibn Qudamah: "Whoever doubts about divorce or its number, or breastfeeding or its number, builds upon certainty." And whoever is certain that he divorced three times, his wife has become irrevocably divorced from him, even if he does not remember the details. However, if the divorces or some of them were not explicit, or were conditional, these could either occur or not, and require presentation to trustworthy scholars.
