Are the fasts and prayers of one who watched films that led to the discharge of a fluid—where she does not know whether it is semen (maniyy) or pre-seminal fluid (madhiy)—acceptable? For distinguishing between manī (seminal fluid) and madhī (pre-seminal fluid) in women, there are two signs: The emission of manī is accompanied by pleasure, followed by a sensation of fatigue, and its scent is like that of date palm pollen. What was most likely emitted from you is madhī, and it does not invalidate the fast due to repeated looking, according to the majority of scholars. If you are unsure whether it is manī or madhī, you may choose the ruling of either. In your case, you are not obligated to make up the fast because you are afflicted with waswasah (obsessive whispering), and you must be cautious not to succumb to these whispers.
