Is disagreement with parents on worldly matters, which angers them and which they interpret as contempt, considered disobedience that necessitates obeying them even if they are wrong?

A child must obey his parents in what is good and in what does not cause him harm or difficulty. It is forbidden for him to disobey them unless the matter involves disobedience to Allah. If the son believes that the best interest lies in something other than what his father commands him, he should convince him with wisdom, while noting that he is not obliged to agree with his father's opinion, whether in worldly or religious matters. However, he is obliged to obey him in what is good and to respect his opinion.
