What is the meaning of "Ihsaan" (excellence/benevolence) in the Quran?

The word "Ihsan" (excellence/goodness) in the Quran is comprehensive, encompassing all aspects of life, including a person's relationship with their Creator and with creation. This is exemplified in the verse: "Indeed, Allah orders justice and Ihsan (excellence)." Allah Almighty specifically mentioned Ihsan towards parents, relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the distant neighbor, the companion by one's side, the traveler, and those whom one's right hand possesses. And He, the Glorified, clarified the comprehensiveness of His justice in recompensing every doer of good, saying: "Is the recompense for Ihsan (goodness) anything but Ihsan (goodness)?"
