What is the ruling on saying: "Our Lord wills it so" or "Our Lord wants it this way"?

A Muslim must show reverence to Allah the Almighty and His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and use language that befits this reverence.

The word "عوز" (ʿawz) and its derivatives denote need and poverty, which are not befitting of Allah the Almighty.

Therefore, one must avoid saying "ربنا عاوز كده" (Our Lord 'wants' this, using the term 'ʿawz'), because it suggests an unfitting meaning. It is more appropriate to use sound, unambiguous religious expressions, such as: "ربنا يريد ذلك" (Our Lord wills that).

However, believing in attributing need or poverty ("ʿawz") to the Lord of the Worlds is undoubtedly invalid; in fact, it is disbelief (kufr).
