Is it permissible to marry a committed and religious girl, even though she does not currently wear the hijab, and is it permissible to persuade her father to approve of her for marriage?

It is obligatory to obey the father in not marrying a girl who does not wear hijab, unless there is a fear of falling into sin. This is because the father forbids marriage to her for a valid Shariah reason, which is that abandoning the hijab is a deficiency in religious observance. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, guided us to choose a religious woman, saying: "A woman is married for four things: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion. So, choose the one who is religious, and may your hands be soiled with dust [i.e., may you prosper]."
