Is it better for you to house your wife and children in your parents' home with your brothers and sisters, or in a separate home?

The wife's residence in a house where the husband's brothers also reside is a religious caution due to the possibility of their being alone with her. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against this, saying: "Beware of entering upon women," and concerning the husband's in-laws, "The in-law is death." If this caution exists, it is obligatory to provide the wife with a separate dwelling. However, if the caution does not exist—for instance, if the wife occupies a separate section of the house, adheres to the hijab, and avoids being alone with them—then there is no harm in her remaining with them, though having a private dwelling is better to block the means [to sin]. If there is fear for her safety living alone, she should remain with them while adhering to the hijab and avoiding being alone [with them].
