Is خشوع (reverence/devotion) weeping out of the fear of God, or is it the fear of God in the heart and avoiding sins?

Humility (Khushu') is submission and abasement before Allah. Its locus is the heart, and its effect becomes manifest on the limbs as an act of veneration for the sacred limits of Allah. In the Arabic language, Khushu' means lowliness, abasement, and stillness. The humility of the limbs without the heart realizing abasement is blameworthy. People's expressions regarding the definition of humility have varied, but they all agree that its locus is the heart, and what appears of it on the limbs is the fruit of what is in the heart. The truth is that humility is a meaning composed of veneration, love, abasement, and brokenness.
