What should I do, given that I swore upon the Qur’an that I would not commit a specific sin, and if I did, I would break my phone and donate a thousand pounds, and I swore that I would not atone except by breaking the phone and donating the money, and now I have fallen into the sin and am unable to fulfill my oath?

You must repent from the sin by regretting it, abstaining from it, and resolving not to return to it.

You are not obligated to fulfill the oath to give a thousand in charity, though it is recommended.

You are not permitted to fulfill the oath to break the phone, as it is a destruction of property without benefit, which is forbidden.

Your oath not to expiate for these two oaths does not obligate you to fulfill them.

The obligatory oath is one that pertains to performing an obligation or abstaining from a forbidden act.

One expiation suffices for those oaths if you broke all of them before performing expiation.

It is disliked to swear excessively, and a Muslim should safeguard their oaths.
