Is it permissible to write an amulet (hijab) for love using the Beautiful Names of Allah (Asma Allah al-Husna) and a Surah from the Quran, along with the person's name, and is this act forbidden (haram)?

The use of amulets to bring benefit or ward off harm is forbidden, even if they are from the Quran or Sunnah, according to the preponderant opinion. This is because it is the view of most of the early Muslims (Salaf), and it aligns with the general prohibition of amulets and with the principle of blocking means (sadd al-dhari'ah).

Amulets are either from the Quran or from other sources. If they are from the Quran, there is a difference of opinion regarding the permissibility of hanging them. The preponderant view is that they are forbidden, as there is no evidence from the Quran or Sunnah for the benefit of hanging them; rather, benefit comes from reciting them. If they are from sources other than the Quran, such as talismans or incomprehensible inscriptions, they are undoubtedly forbidden. They might even be names of devils or jinn, and it is not permissible to use anything whose meaning is not understood.
