Should a woman weak in faith and character, who is aware of her own shortcomings, accept marriage to a man of faith and good character who believes her to be better than she is, or should she refuse him so as not to deceive him?

There is no blame on a woman for concealing her flaws from a suitor, as long as she does not lie or deceive him, except for flaws that prevent intercourse or repulsive and contagious diseases, which must be disclosed. Therefore, a woman should not reject a suitor who possesses religiosity and good character because of her flaws; rather, she should strive to improve herself, for good morals are acquired through habituation and training, as Abu al-Darda' said: "Knowledge is acquired through learning, and forbearance is acquired through forbearance."
