What is the ruling on the commission taken by a bank or company representative from a showroom or agency in exchange for directing a customer to them to purchase a car?

If the representative is authorized by his employer to take a fee for guiding people to an exhibition, then there is no harm in that, and there is no harm for the exhibition in paying it. However, if he is not authorized, then it is not permissible to pay it to him, because it is considered a bribe and an embezzlement from workers' gifts, as stated in the Hadith: "Gifts of workers are embezzlement." And due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to one who was given a gift while he was a worker: "What is wrong with a worker whom I send, and he says: 'This is for you and this was gifted to me.' Why did he not sit in his father’s house or his mother’s house to see if he would be gifted anything or not?"
