Why do we supplicate for the Prophet using the Ibrahimic formula in the obligatory prayer, while Allah Almighty commanded us: "Supplicate for him and greet him with a [worthy] greeting"?

If the intention behind the verse: ﴿Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and grant him سلام (peace) with [proper] salutations.﴾ [Al-Ahzab: 56] is that the Ibrahimiyyah prayer (Salat al-Ibrahimiyyah) is devoid of salam (peace), then know that the Ibrahimiyyah prayer comes after the Tashahhud, which includes salam upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Companions asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, how to send blessings upon him after they had learned how to send salam. He answered them with the well-known formula of the Ibrahimiyyah prayer. The Companions' statement "How do we send salam upon you?" refers to the salam in the Tashahhud: "Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings." And their statement "So how do we send blessings upon you?" means after the Tashahhud.
