Which has greater merit and benevolence: the husband or the parents, especially since the merit of parents is mentioned in the Quran, and the relationship with them is one of sacrifice and giving, unlike the marital relationship which is based on give-and-take and can end in divorce? And what kind of prostration is mentioned in the Hadith: "If I were to command anyone to prostrate to other than Allah, I would have commanded the wife to prostrate to her husband"?

Obeying the husband takes precedence over obeying the parents when there is a conflict and reconciliation is not possible. Nevertheless, the rights of parents are greater than the rights of the husband, and the rights of the mother are greater than the rights of the father. As for the hadith, "If I were to command anyone to prostrate to other than Allah, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband," what is meant by it is prostration of respect and تقدير (appreciation/esteem), not prostration of worship, due to the immense rights of the husband over his wife.
