Which is better for a Muslim: accumulating money to build a house, or spending it on charitable causes such as Hajj and marriage?

The financial ability is a prerequisite for the obligation of Hajj, meaning that a person must have enough money left for Hajj after settling debts, legitimate expenses, and essential needs such as housing. Therefore, if a person who has not performed the obligatory Hajj gains this ability, Hajj becomes immediately incumbent upon him. As for prioritizing Hajj over marriage, Hajj must be prioritized unless the person needs to marry and fears falling into sin, in which case marriage takes precedence. However, if the Hajj is voluntary and the person needs to acquire a home, it is better to save money for building the home.
