Which is more befitting for a person: to perform Hajj with the money he possesses, or to use it to get married, fearing temptation?

If a man needs to marry and fears hardship for himself, he should prioritize marriage over Hajj, because it is an obligation for him and he cannot do without it, and it is like his sustenance. However, if he does not fear hardship, then he should prioritize Hajj, because marriage is a supererogatory act and should not take precedence over the obligatory Hajj. If he has an urgent desire, then marriage at that point becomes one of his life's necessities, similar to eating and drinking. It is permissible for someone who needs to marry but does not have money to be given from the Zakat (definition) what he needs to marry.
