Which is more befitting: saving money for marriage or performing the Hajj for the second time?

Hajj is among the best deeds, and marriage is encouraged and has many virtues. If a young man cannot combine a supererogatory Hajj with marriage, he should prioritize marriage due to its role in preserving chastity and increasing progeny. Prioritizing a supererogatory Hajj for someone who cannot combine the two means remaining unmarried, which contradicts the command of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to hasten to marry for those who need it. Scholars have stipulated that marriage for one who needs it is recommended, even if it leads to abstaining from a non-obligatory act of worship.
