What are the legitimate ways to remove black magic (sihr), how should one deal with the perpetrator who confessed to their deed, what advice is directed to the parents of the kidnapped boy, and how can black magic be undone for someone when the doer is unknown?

We ask Allah to return the boy to his family and to cure him from sorcery. Sorcery can be undone by permissible means, but it is not allowed to undo sorcery with sorcery of the same kind according to the majority of scholars, though some have permitted it out of necessity. We advise seeking help from security authorities to deal with the sorcerer, and before that, one should supplicate and humbly entreat Allah to protect the boy and return him.
