How can I reconcile my desire to wear the niqab with my husband's refusal of it due to his work requirements, given my frequent need to go out?

First: The covering of a woman's face and hands is a matter of disagreement, and the most correct opinion is that it is obligatory.

Second: The husband must know that sustenance is in the hand of Allah, and that piety is a cause for it. He must assist his wife in obeying Allah by wearing the complete hijab. He must remind her of the obligation to cover her face and hands, and that he is a guardian and responsible for his flock. There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator, but this should be done with a good approach.

Third: If the woman fears that her insistence on wearing the niqab will lead to the deterioration of the marital relationship, then she may take the concession and act according to the opinion of those who do not consider covering the face obligatory, and postpone it temporarily. She must minimize her outings from the home as much as possible if no understanding is reached with her husband.
