Is it permissible to perform Umrah on behalf of one's living father or mother if they are unable to go for Umrah due to financial reasons?

It is not permissible to perform 'Umrah on behalf of a living person who is physically able, merely because of their financial inability. However, for someone who is unable due to old age or an incurable illness, it is permissible to perform 'Umrah on their behalf with their permission, after you have performed the obligatory 'Umrah for yourself. The financial inability of the person for whom the 'Umrah is being performed does not affect the validity of the 'Umrah.
