How can Internet addiction be treated?

The Muslim should know that the purpose of his creation is to worship Allah the Almighty, that his life consists of these days he spends in this world, and that he will be held accountable for every moment of his life. He must strive against his soul in obedience to Allah and gather provisions for the Hereafter, and he must organize his time with a daily schedule that occupies him with what benefits him in this world and the Hereafter.
