Is it true that a delayed funeral is a sign of the deceased's ill fate?

The Sunnah (definition) is to hasten the burial of the deceased, and delaying the burial without a valid excuse is a shortcoming on the part of the living and does not signify anything bad about the deceased. The difficulty in arranging the funeral and preparing the burial has no relation to the righteousness or corruption of the deceased; rather, it could be due to normal factors such as the hardness of the ground. What is required of a Muslim is to have a good opinion of another Muslim.
