Whoever accepts work in the public sector must adhere to it and perform the required duties. It is not permissible for you to combine private and public work while neglecting public work, under the pretext that your father takes your entire salary. A father may take from his son's money under conditions: that he does not wrong him or harm him, and that he does not give it to another son. As for Abu Hanifa, Malik, and Al-Shafi'i, he is only allowed to take what he needs. Public funds are more sacred, and [misappropriating them] is an assault on the rights of the entire society.
