To what extent is the Islamic legal scholarship sound at Ez-Zitouna University and other universities in Tunisia, and can a Salafi-Jihadi student avoid "scholars of sultans and the Murji'ah of this era" there, knowing that most of its scholars are Ash'aris?

Judging scholars as "scholars of the rulers" or "Murji'ah of the era" is not a trivial matter; it is a characteristic of those who go to extremes. The Ash'aris have differed from the methodology of the Salaf in numerous issues, and the Murji'ah are among the sects that have deviated from the Ahl al-Sunnah. If there is no university that teaches the pure methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah, and a university is available that adopts the methodology of the'Ash'aris or others who have deviated from the pure methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah, there is no harm in studying there, provided you are able to refer to trustworthy scholars to understand the true nature of the deviations and avoid being influenced by them. A student of knowledge must adhere to the etiquettes of seeking knowledge and beware of its pitfalls, such as conceit, self-admiration, and rushing into major issues before being prepared. They must follow the Sunnah and call to Allah with insight.
