Is my work in maintaining and programming computer networks for a security institution, in which information about both righteous and wicked people is stored, unlawful and does it necessitate that I leave this job, given that I do not provide any information about any person, nor do I participate in investigation, interrogation, or arrest?

There is no harm in the aforementioned work as long as you do not participate in injustice and aggression, and as long as you defend the oppressed and do not accept the fabrication of false accusations. You must refrain from what is impermissible, such as spying on Muslims, or pursuing their private affairs, or recording baseless accusations.
