What is the ruling on working in the analysis of alcohol samples, knowing that refusing to do so may lead to termination from employment?

Khamr (wine/alcohol) is an abomination from the handiwork of Satan. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed everyone associated with it. Analyzing khamr and verifying its drinkability contradicts the command to avoid it, and is considered aiding those who drink it, which is prohibited. This work should be abandoned, except in cases of extreme necessity, such as having no other work that fulfills your basic needs and those of your dependents.
