What is the ruling on purchasing a car in interest-free installments over five years, after which interest is added, and is such a transaction advisable?

It is not permissible to purchase a car or anything else with a contract that includes usury (riba), whether the interest is immediate or deferred. Muslims must be advised against falling into this matter, for "Religion is sincerity (or good counsel)."
