Is it permissible to show images of hands only in videos without the rest of the body appearing?
If the photography is limited to the hand without the rest of the body, it is not considered a prohibited image, based on the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "The image is the head; if the head is cut off, there is no image." It must be considered whether the visible part in the picture does not fall within the 'awrah (parts of the body that must be covered) that are impermissible to expose or look at. If "girls' hands" refers only to their palms, then there is a difference of opinion among scholars regarding whether they are 'awrah and the permissibility of looking at them. However, if it refers to what is above the palm, such as the forearm and similar parts, this falls within the limits of the 'awrah and is not permissible to expose.
