Is it permissible to work with male students on an engineering graduation project, or is it better to risk working with female students whose academic level is low and bear the burden of the work alone?

Mixed education has corrupting influences and dangers, and a group of scholars have issued a fatwa prohibiting it. Working on a graduation project with men goes beyond mere studying because it requires extensive interaction, so it is not permissible to embark on it. One must fear Allah and keep away from mixing with men, and maintain the hijab, lower the gaze, and avoid adornment.
