Is a son's joking reply, "Some prayers I observe, and others I do not," to his father's question about his adherence to prayer, considered mockery of prayer?

Prayer holds a magnificent status in Islam; it is the second pillar after the two declarations of faith, and the first of a Muslim's deeds to be examined. Preserving it leads to success and gain, while neglecting it leads to disappointment and loss. Severe warnings have been issued against those who are negligent with it or neglect it, such as Allah's saying: "So woe to those who pray [But] who are heedless of their prayer" and His saying: "But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet Ghayyā." If you maintain your prayers and claim to neglect them sometimes as a joke, this is not mockery, but rather a forbidden lie.
