Is it permissible to wipe over defiled socks due to urine splashes and pray with them, based on the Maliki school of thought, which considers the removal of impurity to be a Sunnah?

The well-known opinion of the Maliki school and the majority of scholars is that ritual purity (tahara) is a condition for the validity of prayer (salah), based on the Almighty's saying: "And purify your garments." Many Maliki scholars have stated that the disagreement on this issue is semantic, as they all agree on the obligation to remove impurity for those who are able. Accordingly, one must purify socks or any other clothing worn by the worshiper if it is affected by impurity, and it is not permissible to pray with them while they are impure.
