Would a person be considered sinful if they were to lag in responding to one of their parents' calls and mentally say "uff" to themselves, without voicing it or making it heard?

Allah has commanded kindness and dutifulness to parents. It is mentioned in the Hadith that dutifulness to parents is among the most beloved deeds to Allah, after prayer at its appointed time and before striving in the cause of Allah. Therefore, you must obey your parents and hasten to comply with their commands, as long as it does not involve disobedience to Allah, without showing annoyance or objection, even if they do not listen to you. This is because Allah has forbidden sighing (uff) and anything that harms parents, as He says: "So do not say to them, 'uff,' and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word."
