Does ablution become void if one wipes over a bandage that then moves slightly but does not fall off?

The falling off of part of a plaster or a splint that has been wiped over does not invalidate ablution, as long as it is put back and wiped over immediately without a long interval. However, if there is a long interval between its falling off and its being put back, ablution is invalidated according to the view that requires continuity (muwalat), and this view is more cautious.
