Must the prayers performed with ablution in which the toe bandage was not wiped over be repeated, due to ignorance or forgetfulness?

The obligation in ablution is to wash the limb directly if possible. If not, then it should be wiped over directly if washing would cause or worsen an illness or delay recovery. If wiping is not possible, a splint should be applied and wiped over. If the wound area is washed or wiped over, and then a plaster is applied, the ablution is valid. However, if one is unable to wash or wipe the wound directly, and wiping over the plaster is neglected due to ignorance or forgetfulness, then the ablution is invalid, and according to the majority of scholars, it is obligatory to make up the prayers performed with it, and this is the most preponderant view. Whereas Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah holds the view that the prayer is not invalidated by neglecting one of its conditions due to ignorance or forgetfulness, thus no re-performance is required.
