What is the position of students of knowledge and scholars regarding the subjugation of Islamic countries to the West in their policies, and when is it permissible for them to remain silent?

The stance of scholars and students of knowledge towards the reality of the Muslim nation is to deal with it according to the legitimate guidelines of enjoining good and forbidding evil, and striving for reform as much as possible. The silence of scholars from clarifying the truth is not permissible, except to avert a greater harm or for fear of an assured damage, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], 'You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it.'" So, if there is no excuse, they cannot remain silent, because their purpose is to manifest the truth, clarify it to people, and distinguish it from falsehood.
