Is it permissible for a woman to divide a not-so-large sum of money among her daughters during her lifetime, adding more to it whenever available?

There is no objection to a woman distributing her wealth among her children, male and female, if she is not suffering from a life-threatening illness. This is considered a gift and not an inheritance, and she must be just in its distribution.
