Will all Muslims enter Paradise, even those who commit major sins, after spending a period in Hell? And is it true that immodestly dressed women will enter Paradise after Hell, despite the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying about "the clothed yet naked"?

It is part of the belief of the People of the Sunnah and the Community (Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah) that Muslim perpetrators of major sins will not abide eternally in Hellfire. Rather, they will exit it after punishment, intercession, or divine forgiveness. The hadith that mentions some women will not enter Paradise nor find its scent is interpreted to mean that their entry into Paradise will be by the grace of Allah, or that they will not enter it with the first entrants, or that it is subject to the divine will. This principle is firmly established by clear texts (muhkamat), and anything that contradicts it belongs to the ambiguous texts (mutashabihat) which are referred back to the clear ones.
