Is it forbidden or permissible to benefit from the assistance of the Red Crescent, distributed to all Syrian families, especially given the lack of dire need for it and self-sufficiency?

If you are among those eligible for aid, there is no harm in taking it. However, if you leave it and have sufficient means to support yourself, that is better, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “No servant opens the door of begging except that Allah opens for him the door of poverty.” What is meant by begging (mas’alah) is asking people and requesting money and needs. So, the more a person resorts to asking people, the more Allah increases him in need and poverty.
