Is it permissible for the suitor to withdraw from the engagement due to a lack of comfort after performing Salatul-Istikhara, knowing that he has touched the fiancée without intercourse, and after inquiring about her and hearing nothing but good?

The questioner must repent of the forbidden relationship that was between her and the man, as these relationships may cause the man to turn away from marrying her due to doubts. A man's feeling of unease after performing istikhara may not be related to istikhara or be a sign of not getting married. One of the signs of a positive istikhara outcome is divine facilitation of the matter for which istikhara was performed. The man is not obligated to marry her merely because of the unlawful transgression that occurred between them, and she must learn from this lesson, strive for righteousness, and supplicate to Allah for a righteous husband.
