Is it permissible for a sister to give one of her male children to her sister who cannot conceive, for her to raise him, while the child retains his lineage to his original parents in name, inheritance, and other rights?

It is permissible for a sister to raise and care for her nephew without him being attributed to her, provided that the child is attributed to his real father. This is because what is religiously prohibited is attributing a child to other than his father. Islamic law has permitted cooperation, righteousness, benevolence, and caring for orphans and the needy, while emphasizing the necessity for the father not to abandon his son and the obligation to care for him to avoid the negative consequences that may arise from complete abandonment. It also advised the necessity of using terms like "raising" (tarbiya) or "caring for" (inaya) instead of "grant" (minha) or "gift" (hadiya) when speaking about this matter.
