It is obligatory to inform the responsible authorities of the error that occurred, the appointment date, and the bonuses that were received. If you are absolved of it and permitted to benefit from it, then there is no harm. Otherwise, it is necessary to return it due to unentitlement, in order to observe the eligibility conditions set by the granting authority.
