Is it true that Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) used to sell idols and call out: "Who will buy something that harms and does not benefit them?"

What has been reported about Ibrahim (peace be upon him) selling idols and his call, "Who will buy that which harms and does not benefit?" is not established with a strong chain of narration. It has been reported as a mawquf narration attributed to some Companions and Successors, but its chain of narration is very weak, especially since it is from the narration of Al-Suddi, who collects different chains of narration without distinction, and from the narration of Asbat ibn Nasr from Al-Suddi, and Asbat is known for many errors. Furthermore, these reports resemble what the Companions used to relate from the People of the Book.
