Is the Hadith: "Is it not just of Me to appoint each of you to what he was appointed to in the worldly life?" authentic?

Allah will gather the first and the last on an appointed Day. Then a caller will proclaim, "Are you not pleased that every person be assigned to what they worshipped in this world?" They will say, "Yes," and then they will depart. Only the believers who worshipped none but Allah will remain. Their Lord will come to them in a form different from the one they know, and they will say, "Indeed, we have a Lord whom we have not yet seen." Then He will come to them in the form they recognize, and He will uncover His Shin, whereupon every believer will prostrate to Him. As for those who used to prostrate out of hypocrisy, they will be unable to prostrate. And whoever loved something for other than Allah, it will inevitably harm them and be a cause for their torment.
