Do a car and household furnishings become impure after someone urinates on the car's cloth seats and it dries, knowing that the questioner's father has already sold the car?

The jurisprudential ruling regarding the transfer of ritual impurity (najasah) can be summarized as follows: some scholars hold the view that if an impurity dries, its ruling does not transfer to something that touches it, even if that something is damp or wet. This opinion can be adopted in cases of difficulty and hardship. Therefore, if clothes have touched dry urine, they are pure. However, according to the view that impurity does transfer, it is obligatory to purify whatever is certainly known to have been affected by it. It is also mentioned that washing clothes purifies them, and the default ruling for anything about which there is doubt concerning the transfer of impurity is purity. It is advisable to inform the car buyer about the presence of the impurity if possible. One is cautioned against excessive scrupulousness and obsessive doubts (waswas).
