Does the Hadith: "Give in charity, for I have seen that most of the inhabitants of the Hellfire are women… And why is that, O Messenger of Allah? He said: You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands," mean that cursing and ingratitude to one's husband occur more frequently among women than men?

The hadith that mentions cursing and ingratitude toward one's spouse clarifies the reason why women constitute the majority of the inhabitants of Hellfire. Describing them as such is from the perspective of the prevalent, not a generalization, for among them are believing, pious women. Just as there are men who deny good deeds, the denial of good deeds is more prevalent among women.
