Is the meaning intended by "making God one of three" the saying of Allah the Almighty: "The Messiah would never disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels nearest [to Him]," and not, as Al-Suddi said, that the intended meaning is the saying of Allah the Almighty: "And [mention] when Allah will say, 'O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, "Take me and my mother as two gods besides Allah"'"?

The verse: {Certainly, disbelievers are those who say, "Allah is the third of three."} has been interpreted in two ways: First: The interpretation of Al-Suddi, Mujahid, and Ibn Kathir, which states that it refers to the Christians making Christ and his mother two deities alongside Allah. Second: A strange interpretation mentioned by Ibn Abi Hatim, which states that it refers to the saying of the Jews that Uzair is the son of Allah, and the saying of the Christians that Christ is the son of Allah.

As for the verse: {The Messiah would never disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels nearest [to Him]}, its meaning is that the Messiah and the closest angels do not disdain from worshipping Allah, and this is different from the first verse.
