Adultery is a grave sin, forbidden and even more prohibited if committed with a (unmarriageable kin). Whoever commits this abomination must offer sincere repentance, characterized by remorse, abstaining from the sin, and resolving never to return to it. They should also strive to associate with righteous individuals, fulfill their religious obligations, and perform many supererogatory acts of worship. Private seclusion and looking at mahrams with whom adultery was committed are forbidden after the act, but the kinship between them remains.
