Is it necessary to make a specific intention for ablution from semen discharged without desire, or is the normal ablution for prayer sufficient?

The emission of semen without passion does not necessitate ghusl (ritual bath) according to the majority of scholars, contrary to the Shafi'is, who mandate it unconditionally. As for the majority, semen in this state is considered an impurity that nullifies wudu' (ablution), and only wudu' is required with the intention of removing minor impurity; a specific intention for it is not obligatory.
