A common person's inquiry about what they do not know concerning their religion is obligatory. As for blameworthy questioning, it is that of stubbornness or about matters of no benefit. One can deal with family members who are doubting their religion through indirect admonition, such as playing lectures, seeking help from virtuous people, treating them well, and being keen to be a good role model. Judging someone as an apostate is a serious matter that is not permissible except with the fulfillment of the conditions for declaring someone a disbeliever, the absence of impediments, and the establishment of proof against them.
