What is the status of the Arabic language?

The Arabic language is the foundation of contemporary Arab thought, a tool for literature, a bond for the nation, and a basis for unity. It holds a great position among languages, having emerged fully mature and lived for centuries fulfilling its mission, interacting with civilizations. Arabic words entered European languages. Arabic is distinguished by its lexical richness and diverse styles. It was able to conquer empires and, after Islam, transformed into a language of science and jurisprudence. Arabic resisted the campaigns of the Tatars and Crusaders, and stood firm against attempts at marginalization by the Ottomans and colonialism. Historians and philosophers affirm its uniqueness, strength, and role as a tool for disseminating knowledge and thought, and that it is the language of God and the people of Paradise - with reservation on the latter point. It is also rich in vocabulary due to derivation and flexible for recording divine revelation.
